Random Shots of Beauty
One of my favorite trees in Carmel Valley sits about two-tenths of a mile below the southern ridgeline of Garland Ranch Regional Park, nestled into a bend in a path called the Sky Trail:
The tree's dynamic colors at this time of year remind me of a large, slowly expanding firework. Right now the tree is mostly green and yellow, but will progress to brilliant reds and oranges as the season progresses.
Bring on autumn.

looks like a cool place to run
Fall is hands down my favorite season to trail run. The leaves are so beautiful to look at. That tree you have a picture of is beautiful.
What a sight for the eyes to help your spirit soar!
It's too bad there wasn't an easier way to capture a timelapse outdoors over days or weeks with a small pocket camera...
Certainly a great view, way better then what I see on many of my runs.
